The skills needed for success in Kindergarten (and beyond!) are woven throughout the child-led curriculum. With a small class size, TK children will be able to learn from experts around the Bay Area on field trips and daily outings.
The forest is our classroom. Focused on developing life skills through play, exploration and emergent curriculum. Children learn to take risks, make observations, ask questions, build positive relationships and to care for nature.
Children gain confidence and develop autonomy through hands on explorations and play in nature. Younger Group offers developmentally appropriate experiences to foster social connections and nature connection. Child-led, teacher supported.

Forest Enrichment Program
A flexible afternoon program where children explore, play and learn through self-directed activities in all weather, outdoors. Fostering nature connection and development while having fun in the forest.
Runs over summer and winter breaks. Play outside, explore, get dirty and have fun! Share songs and stories, go on a group hiking adventure, make discoveries and build friendships.
A Coyote Scout is a child, age 7 to 12 years old, who has previously attended Coyote Camp or Spire School. A Coyote Scout has a strong or developing nature connection; enjoys playing and exploring outdoors in all weather. Coyote Scouts attend Coyote Camp with campers ages 3 to 6 years old, but with a different role. Scouts will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the Coyote Camp Teachers.
